What would it be like to play a painting? Painting would be more of an act of consumption than one of production, radical digital painter Jeffrey Alan Scudder (USA) claims. He seeks to answer questions of the relation between classical and new forms of art, such as drawing, painting, code, or video games. He draws upon a multitude of modes and media such as his own software which he uses to create paintings.
Through our cooperation with Veranstaltungen der Shedhalle Tübingen, we were able to figure out how technology can transform art. Without the need of a detailed knowledge (neither about art nor technology) but a lot of curiosity everyone enjoyed meeting and getting to know Jeffrey Alan Scudder as part of the generate!_lab - Festival for Electronic Arts!
